This book is the result of a fruitful dialogue between legal cultures, generations, and human perspectives. It was born of the collaboration between the Universidad de Guadalajara Centro Universitario de Tonalá (University of Guadalajara’s Tonalá University Center) and a group of jurists and scholars from the United States, united by a shared conviction: that the Law, to fulfill its highest purpose, must be a living science, in motion, capable of adapting to the challenges of technology, social justice, and human dignity.
