Las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TIC) se han convertido en herramientas esenciales para promover el cumplimiento de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) en el ámbito educativo. Este artículo examina cómo la Universidad Veracruzana (UV) ha integrado las TIC en su estrategia educativa para avanzar hacia los ODS 4 (Educación de Calidad), 5 (Igualdad de Género) y 16 (Paz, Justicia e Instituciones Sólidas). A través de un análisis de iniciativas actuales, incluyendo el proyecto doctoral “El Proceso de minería de opiniones para la identificación de rasgos de acoso escolar a nivel de licenciatura”, se evalúa el impacto de estas tecnologías en la mejora del aprendizaje y la gestión institucional. Los resultados indican que, aunque existen desafíos significativos, la implementación efectiva de TIC puede facilitar un cambio positivo y contribuir a un desarrollo más equitativo y sostenible.
